Overcoming the Mid-Challenge Slump

Somewhere around the two-thirds mark of any challenge, energy dips. You start strong, you’ve made progress, but then life gets busy and it feels easier to stop. I’ve felt it too.

When I hit that slump, I remind myself it’s normal. Progress is not a straight line. There are days when things flow and days when it feels hard. What matters is not perfection, but persistence.

Here are a few ways I’ve learned to push through the slump:

🌿 Celebrate how far you’ve already come. Look back at your wins and give yourself credit.
🌿 Go back to the “10-minute mindset.” When everything feels overwhelming, just choose one small action.
🌿 Lean into community. Share where you’re at and let others cheer you on.

I remember one week in particular when I was so tempted to quit. Life had piled up, and my home reflected the chaos. Instead of giving up, I chose one small thing. I cleared my kitchen counter, just enough to feel a little calmer. That one step gave me the energy to do another. And before I knew it, I was back on track.

So if you’re in the slump right now, know this: you are not behind. You are not failing. You are right on track because you’re still here. Every step forward, no matter how small, keeps the momentum alive.

The finish line is closer than you think. Don’t quit before you see the transformation waiting for you on the other side.
